Eli Loker is an employee of The Lightman Group who acquired his deception detection skills through academic education and practice. Loker adheres to what he calls “radical honesty”, meaning that he aims to always tell the truth about everything, even when it is impolite or insensitive. Loker and Lightman have a close but somewhat strained relationship, leading to the need for Loker to continually “prove” himself and his worth to the company.

Brendan Hines, born December 28th, 1976, is an American actor and singer-songwriter. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland in a family of former nuns and priests. After graduating from Loyola Blakefield, Hines moved to New York where he worked in the theater. Hines has played leading roles in a number of independent films, but is best known for his role in Lie to Me. Hines has also written, recorded and released two folk albums.
