Ben Reynolds is an FBI Agent who joins the Lightman Group near the end of Season 1. Dr. Lightman sees Reynold as a crucial addition to the Lightman Group to offer what’s been missing from the team, namely armed assistance and practical insight. Like many people, Reynolds does not always agree with Lightman, but continues to be an important support for Lightman and the group.

Mekhi Phifer is an American actor born in Harlem, New York City on December 28th, 1974. Phifer is well-known for his role as Dr. Greg Pratt on the medical drama ER and for co-starring with Eminem in the movie 8 mile. He is also recognized for his role as an FBI agent on Lie to Me and as a CIA agent in Torchwood: Miracle Day. Phifer has married twice, first Malinda Williams then Reshelet Barnes, and has two children.
